Job Description

Job Description The Medical Assistant (MA) will support and facilitate clinic operations by performing clinical, clerical, and technical duties, including patient rooming, documentation during visits, assisting with minor procedures, managing supplies, supporting Telehealth services when applicable, and flexing to administrative support when needed. This role requires strong communication skills, clinical competence, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively to ensure an optimal care experience for patients and families.

Key Responsibilities:

Collect and report data to assist the multidisciplinary team in the evaluation of patient needs

Performs a variety of comprehensive registration and scheduling functions

Demonstrate open, accurate and timely communication with patients, families and interdisciplinaryteam members to ensure effective therapeutic interventions

Required Qualifications:

Medical Assistant Certification Basic Life Support (BLS)

Preferred Qualifications:

High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of Medical Assistant experience

Spanish proficiency

Familiarity with Microsoft Office tools, HIPAA, infection control, and patient safety protocols

The pay range for this position is $24.95 - $35.23/hour.

Compensation is determined based on years of relevant experience and departmental equity.
