Starting Pay Range: $24.00 - $26.00 hourly, depending on experience.

Location: 3130 Inland Empire Blvd., Ste A, Ontario, CA 91764.

Office Hours and Remote: Monday & Wednesday: 9:00am – 6:00pm;
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday: 8:00am – 4:30pm. Four days in the office and one day remote per week.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and guide job seekers through the preparation of Individual Employment Plans (IEP) based on their career and educational goals.
  • Research and identify potential employers regarding job opportunities or work experience opportunities aligned with client caseload needs.
  • Utilize internal and external job boards and coordinate with administrative personnel to keep the internal job board updated.
  • Participate in on‑site job fairs, mass interviewing, and hiring activities; serve on job‑search work teams and job clubs; facilitate job clubs independently or with BDP.
  • Provide career coaching and case‑management services to clients, tracking progress in training and job‑search activities.
  • Outreach and collaborate with external partners to develop job leads and job orders to meet the needs of job seekers and employers.
  • Refer and track clients into on‑site programs, maintaining contact with network partners to ensure participants receive appropriate services.
  • Assess job seekers’ employment and training needs and skills through interviewing, testing, and other strategies.
  • Perform data entry into mandated databases and update files to maintain documentation.
  • Assist in developing, maintaining, and leading Business Advisory Collaboratives and other partnership opportunities or events.
  • Review and process required documentation for training enrollment and completion.
  • Act as liaison for clients with internal personnel, on‑site agencies, and external service providers during training, placement, and retention phases.
  • Research, evaluate, and maintain partnerships with training providers for vocational and remedial training.
  • Conduct orientation sessions, workshops, and group presentations that prepare job seekers for real‑life business needs and expectations.
  • Follow policies, procedures, and regulations related to eligibility documentation; ensure case files contain originals or copies of required documents.
  • Maintain accurate individual case files and meet compliance requirements with all policies.
  • Conduct regular labor market and industry needs analyses and stay current on business and hiring trends.
Travel Requirement

This position requires extensive local travel (>50% of the time). A valid CA driver’s license and state‑required auto insurance are required.

  • Ability to travel and work flexible hours.
Education and Experience
  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from a two‑year college or technical school (required). BA/BS preferred.
  • 2–3 years of experience in social services, coaching, job development, or related employment‑focused fields.
  • Non‑profit experience preferred.
  • Spanish/English bilingual preferred.
  • Knowledge of Cal Jobs and quality control process preferred.
  • Global Career Development Facilitation Certification or Workforce and Career Development Certification preferred.
