Job Title: HR Generalist
Position SummaryWe are seeking a knowledgeable and proactive HR Generalist to support a wide range of human resources functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, benefits administration, compliance, performance management, and HR policy implementation. The ideal candidate will be a trusted resource for employees and management, helping foster a positive work environment while ensuring compliance with company policies and employment laws.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a primary point of contact for employee relations matters and provide guidance on HR policies and procedures.
- Support full-cycle recruitment efforts, including posting positions, screening candidates, scheduling interviews, and coordinating hiring activities.
- Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related questions.
- Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy within HRIS and personnel systems.
- Assist with performance management processes, including evaluations, coaching, and development planning.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Assist with leave of absence administration, accommodations, and workers' compensation processes.
- Prepare HR reports, metrics, and documentation as needed.
- Participate in policy development, implementation, and communication.
- Support organizational changes, workforce planning, and special HR projects.
- Maintain confidentiality of sensitive employee and company information.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Minimum of 2-3 years of Human Resources experience.
- Knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, and benefits administration.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and conflict-resolution skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, or SHRM-SCP certification.
- Experience supporting HR functions in a multi-site or growing organization.
- Familiarity with payroll processing and leave management.
- Experience with HRIS platforms such as ADP, UKG, Workday, Paycom, or similar systems.
