About the RoleProvide senior Azure administration and operational support for enterprise cloud environments. This role is responsible for managing, securing, automating, and supporting Microsoft Azure infrastructure and services, ensuring reliability, compliance, and efficient day to day operations.
Responsibilities- Administer and support Azure environments including subscriptions, virtual machines, networking, and storage
- Manage Azure identity and access using Entra hybrid Active Directory integrations
- Provision, configure, patch, and maintain Azure resources following established standards and procedures
- Implement and maintain automation for deployments and operations using ARM, Bicep, Terraform, Power Shell, or Azure CLI
- Monitor Azure systems and services to ensure availability, performance, and reliability
- Manage backups, disaster recovery, and restoration processes for Azure workloads
- Support security controls including RBAC, MFA, conditional access, and policy enforcement
- Participate in incident response, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis
- Enforce governance, cost controls, and tagging standards across Azure resources
- Collaborate with infrastructure, application, and security teams to support cloud hosted services
- Document operational procedures, runbooks, and system configurations
- Participate in on call rotation and after hours support as required
- 5+ years of Azure administration experience
- Experience supporting production cloud environments
- Strong hands on experience administering Microsoft Azure environments
- Solid understanding of Azure networking concepts including VNets, subnets, NSGs, and routing
- Experience with automation, scripting, and infrastructure as code
- Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as Azure Monitor and Log Analytics
- Strong troubleshooting and production support skills
- Experience supporting hybrid cloud environments
- Azure certifications such as AZ-104 or equivalent
- Experience with security and governance tooling such as Azure Policy and Defender
