SUMMARY

The Claims Specialist is responsible for reviewing, processing, and managing warranty and after-sales claims to ensure compliance with company policies and OEM standards. This role serves as a key liaison between OEM teams, dealers, customers, and suppliers to ensure efficient resolution of claim issues.

JOB DESCRIPTION RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Review and process warranty and service claims in accordance with established OEM policies and internal procedures.
  • Verify claim accuracy by reviewing labor hours, parts usage, repair orders, and supporting documentation.
  • Coordinate with service technicians, engineering, and quality teams to confirm claim information and warranty eligibility.
  • Track claim status and follow up with dealers, customers, or internal teams for missing information or required corrections.
  • Provide procedural guidance to customers and dealers regarding claim submission requirements and documentation standards.
  • Prepare routine claim status reports and reimbursement tracking summaries for internal review.
  • Maintain accurate claim records and documentation within company systems.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS

Basic

Skills Required:

  • Fluent in English and Mandarin Chinese (written and verbal).
  • Bachelor’s degree in automotive technology, Engineering, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience).
  • 1-2 years of warranty claim experience, preferably in the commercial vehicle (bus/truck) industry.
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting tools (Excel, Power BI).
  • Detail-oriented with strong data accuracy awareness.

Preferred

Skills:

  • Knowledge of vehicle systems (e.g., drivetrain, electrical, HVAC, suspension).
  • Experience working with OEMs, dealers, or automotive service.
  • Familiarity with after-sales claims processing systems or work order platforms.
