Responsibilities
  • General responsibilities with engaging vendors at each site for physical installation of equipment including rack stack, cabling, power, out of band management, labeling and other services.
  • Engages vendors and coordinates maintenance and repair work on critical facilities equipment depending on the site, this may include:
  • Emergency power systems: generator, fuel quality, transport ATS, distribution switch gear, UPS and batteries.
  • Cooling systems: condenser or chilled water pumps, water systems, CRAC units, compressors, piping, refrigerants and heat rejection systems including diverse cooling sources.
  • Fire detection and suppression systems coordination with fire department as needed.
  • Black building events testing critical facilities equipment.
  • Monitoring and notification systems for the above.
Required Qualifications
  • Good knowledge of Windows OS
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office products
  • Requesting and coordinating vendor support
  • Provide initial assessment of urgency and business impact on all support calls
  • Knowledge working on remote tools
  • Maintain ownership of users’ issue ensuring that they receive resolution within a reasonable timeframe.
  • Software and network troubleshooting
  • Monitors and response to alarms from critical facilities equipment 24

  • Determines causes and impacts and responds appropriately to protect IT Systems
  • Escalate issues and involve experts wherever required in order to resolve issues as quickly as possible
