Starting Pay Range $4,038.47 - $4,519.23 - Bi-Weekly Depending on experience

Come join the team as the Director of Alltech supporting employee training and client service initiatives while helping with business development.

The Director of IT & Operations will be responsible for the overall success and management of the software company. This role will control all aspects including: operations, finance, human resources, product development, and customer service functions.

Responsibilities
  • Provide strong leadership and direction to the team:
  • Maintain a positive and highly productive team environment
  • Build a strong team within and across departments
  • Build a business development team and coordinate a strategy for marketing Student Information software
  • Develop constructive and cooperative working relationships with others, and maintain them over time
  • Build and maintain a culture of excellence in both products and services
  • Aintain a high level of customer satisfaction
  • Maintain a high level of accountability among all staff through positive motivation
  • Develop a deep understanding for products and services.
  • Responsible for departmental personnel including hiring, performance appraisal, discipline, training, leadership, and work assignment.
  • Responsible for the analysis, design, programming and support of the company’s internally developed and externally purchased application systems and system software.
  • Oversee customer service and implementation teams for users and customers of software.
  • Responsible for the development and implementation of training programs for both IT staff and IT system users and customers, using both internal and external training resources.
  • Develop and administer the IT Department budget. Coordinates expansion, replacement and improvement. Monitor expenditures.
  • Monitor and strive to maintain high levels of quality, accuracy, and process consistency in the sales organization’s planning efforts.
  • Responsible for marketing and recruiting new clientele.
  • Meet with customer 4-5 days a week to qualify and close software opportunities.
  • Partner with field team to help manage/develop relationships in key accounts.
Qualifications
  • Strong time management and administrative skills.
  • Supervisory skills including staff and work planning, personnel hiring and appraisal, motivation, team building and delegation.
  • Strong oral and written communications skills including group presentation skills and the ability to “market” the company’s services to external organizations.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and information technology.
  • An ability to develop and implement effective long range plans.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Business Management or related field.
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong management and communication skills
  • Experience in a B2B environment.
