Engineering Project Manager (SAP Functional Support & Upgrade Lead)

Apple’s Information Systems & Technology (IS&T) organization manages key business and technical infrastructure that influences how online orders are placed, overall customer experience, Apple Care service offering, financial book closure and much more. We need a SAP support & upgrade lead who loves to get hands‑on while driving day‑to‑day operational excellence and offering the highest service levels to our business partners.

• Lead annual SAP upgrades and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
• Provide day‑to‑day SAP production support and troubleshoot production issues.
• Drive operational excellence and maintain high service levels for business partners.
• Partner with vendor teams both onsite and offshore to resolve issues.
• Establish and manage relationships with various business stakeholders.

• 10+ years of SAP functional / implementation experience.
• Expertise in one of the SAP modules such as SD, MM, or FI.
• Experience in managing and implementing multiple cycles of upgrades.
• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in any related field.

• Strong aptitude to do hands‑on troubleshooting production support issues.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills across all levels of the organization.
• Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to drive issue resolution across teams.
• Experience partnering with vendor teams both onsite and offshore.
• Self‑motivated, detail‑oriented, and sensitive to established schedules and scopes.
• Ability to understand ABAP code to aid troubleshooting.
• Hands‑on experience on S/4 HANA will be a significant plus.
