Energy Underwriter

Position: Energy Underwriter I
A company is looking for an Underwriter I (Energy).

Key Responsibilities Review and evaluate energy insurance submissions against underwriting guidelines to determine eligibility, pricing, and coverage structure Utilize independent judgment to approve or decline submissions and document underwriting files accordingly Build and maintain strong relationships with brokers while calculating pricing in line with market conditions

Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree required Minimum of 2 years of underwriting or related insurance experience, preferably in casualty, specialty, or energy-related lines Ability to evaluate risk and make underwriting determinations independently Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to learn underwriting systems quickly Strong desire to develop technical underwriting expertise and adapt to changing market conditions
