Under the supervision of a Custodial Supervisor, this role is responsible for cleaning assigned areas including patient rooms, nursing stations, exam and procedure rooms, conference rooms, offices, hallways, corridors, and public spaces. Duties include operating housekeeping equipment such as vacuum cleaners, buffers, floor machines, shampoo machines, and wall and window washing equipment. Responsibilities also include sweeping, stripping, and waxing floors; performing isolation room cleaning;

completing high and low dusting; and cleaning vertical and horizontal surfaces using approved cleaning solutions.

Candidates should have working knowledge of the proper use and storage of disinfectants, cleaning solutions, soaps, detergents, and floor waxes.
