Store Manager – Overview
As a Store Manager, you will be the first face of the brand for customers, overseeing a team that provides expert product guidance and support throughout their parenting journey. You will create a welcoming, inclusive environment, foster employee development, and help customers transition from first to ongoing purchases.
Key Responsibilities- Build a talent pipeline through networking and recruiting; develop succession plans by training and developing team members.
- Foster a positive, safe, and inclusive work environment that recognizes performance and increases employee engagement.
- Lead and develop leaders through direction, delegation, and investing in their growth.
- Create a genuine customer focus on the sales floor by directing and coaching the team on customer participation in loyalty programs.
- Execute company direction on merchandising and operations; manage payroll and budgets.
- Understand and analyze KPIs to drive results.
- Seamlessly lead and integrate an omnichannel experience ensuring teams are trained on the available tools.
- Reduce loss through consistent customer service, education, and operational controls.
- Positive and solutions-oriented mindset.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Demonstrated leadership and supervisory skills, managing multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Proficient computer and technology skills (Outlook, Excel, Web navigation, etc.).
- Minimum of 3 years of retail or related management experience with direct reports.
- High school diploma or GED.
- Lifting up to 40 pounds as needed; frequent bending, stooping, reaching, pushing, and pulling.
- Standing or walking for extended periods.
- Climbing up and down a ladder.
- Availability for days, nights, weekends, holidays, including a minimum of two closing shifts per week.
Hourly rate ranging from $30.00 to $38.00 based on experience and location.
