About the roleThe Sr. Project Manager is responsible for managing experienced professionals and implementing short-term strategies and policies. The role includes overseeing technical projects, ensuring quality standards, and influencing cross-functional stakeholders. This job profile is intended for People Managers of 4+ experienced to senior expert-level employees. This job and its associated grade are specifically aligned with roles that have the following scope of responsibility:
Large, Division / Extra Large organization.
- Lead and manage technical project teams.
- Develop and monitor project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement mitigation strategies.
- Ensure quality standards and project deliverables are met.
- Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders.
Typically a University degree (or equivalent work experience) and 9+ years of relevant work experience are minimally required to be able to manage and coordinate one or more expert-level teams.
Required Skills- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Proficiency in project management tools and techniques.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective communication and problem-solving abilities.
- Experience in technical project environments.
