Responsibilities
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of freight handling.
- Manage operational processes and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations.
- Lead and supervise a team of freight handlers and operational staff.
- Coordinate the loading, unloading, and handling of freight shipments.
- Implement quality control measures to ensure accuracy and integrity of freight handling processes.
- Bachelor's degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in freight operations or logistics roles.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Knowledge of freight handling processes and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (WMS) and transportation management systems (TMS).
