GEA Group, located in Pasadena, TX, is searching for a Compressor Rebuild Mechanic to join our team.

• Perform tasks to rebuild/repair compressors without supervision, including tear down, inspection, assembly, miscellaneous machining, and parts cleaning.
• Identify basic and intermediate issues and resolve them with minimal supervisory support.
• Co‑coach and provide expertise to resolve issues, ensuring corrective action is implemented.
• Execute simple tests of compressors without supervision.
• Provide technical support to customers and service personnel.
• Perform all work according to customer requirements.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

• High school or technical school diploma or equivalent.
• 5‑10 years of experience with refrigeration compressors (screw and/or piston/reciprocal).
• Mechanical and/or machining experience preferred.

The typical base pay range for this position at the start of employment is expected to be between $30.46 and $40.62 per hour. The pay range is the budgeted amount for the position and does not guarantee compensation. Final offers are based on various factors, including skill set, experience, location, qualifications, and other job‑related reasons.
