This is a volunteer opportunity provided by Taproot Foundation, a nonprofit creating social change through pro‑bono connections.
We’d love to work with a skilled web designer to help us modernize our existing site before the launch of a major climate campaign. Our current site is functional but outdated. With a volunteer’s support, we’d like to:
- Update the look and feel so it’s clean and modern
- Improve the flow for a better user experience
- Strengthen calls to action (signing our pledge, learning more, getting involved, donating)
- Make sure the site is aligned with the scale/seriousness of the campaign we’re about to launch
We’re open to the volunteer’s guidance on what’s realistically doable within the set timeframe of a Taproot project.
Our organization is working to show that public opinion is shifting and people are demanding real climate action. Our website is an important piece of that effort. It’s the first place people will go to understand who we are, what we’re asking for, and why it matters. A stronger website will help more people understand and sign our climate pledge, amplify our reach and help us make the support for climate action more visible and undeniable.
By helping with the website, a Taproot volunteer could significantly contribute to the momentum of the movement.
We’ll provide the volunteer with all the assets and guidance they need. We’ll keep the feedback loop active so that questions can be answered and changes can be implemented quickly. We operate with respect and we value everyone’s time.
Foundation For Climate Restoration Mission:The mission of the Foundation For Climate Restoration is to generate the social license and will to restore the climate. Our vision is climate restoration by 2050, and we want climate restoration to become the overarching goal of climate action by the end of this decade.
