ResponsibilitiesCoordinate patient care to meet identified needs of the patient/family. Supervise the management of patient care utilizing critical thinking and the nursing process. Plan and facilitate discharge, identify and link patients with required services, monitor care delivery, advocate for the patient, and evaluate outcomes. Coordinate patient care across the health care continuum and assist other team members with meeting individual patient needs.
This position may require flexibility of hours.
- Bachelor’s degree (BSN) required;
Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) considered if enrolled in a BSN program with completion within 2 years of hire. - Minimum 1 year current experience in acute care; 2 years preferred.
- Pass the Basic Dysrhythmia course curriculum within 21 days of hire.
- Basic computer skills and experience with computerized documentation systems.
- Current unrestricted RN license issued by the California Board of Registered Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications issued by the American Heart Association.
- Preferred:
Current Progressive Care Certified Nurse (PCCN) or related certification.
- Willing and able to work in a fast‑paced, frequently changing environment.
- Ability to multitask effectively to accomplish work assignments.
- Successfully complete a Code Blue drill every 12 months.
- Competency in management of cardiac emergencies, care of patients with pacemakers/ICD, application/usage of restraints, pressure ulcer prevention and treatment, hypoglycemia management, universal protocol, POCT for bedside blood glucose monitoring, IV admixture, central line/PICC line management, wound VAC, lift equipment.

100 W California Blvd, Pasadena, CA 91105 - Pay Range: $47.88 – $74.20 base rate per shift; additional compensation through differentials, shift bonuses, etc.
- Compensation Structure:
Base rate paid for the first 8 hours; 1.5× overtime for hours 8–12; 2× double‑time for hours beyond 12. - Estimated blended hourly rate on a 12‑hour shift: $55.86 – $86.57.
