Position: Registered Nurse - Contract/Travel - Operating Room *Up to $3,850/WK!*

Registered Nurse for a 13‑week contract in the operating room, located in or near Pasadena, California, with competitive pay up to $3,850 per week.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide specialized perioperative nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures in the operating room, ensuring safety and adherence to protocols.

Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical team members to prepare the OR for scheduled cases, including setup and sterilization procedures.

Maintain accurate documentation of patient status, procedures performed, and post‑operative care using Cerner EMR system.

Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during surgeries to ensure optimal outcomes.

Assist in the preparation and maintenance of surgical equipment and supplies, ensuring readiness for all cases and compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications:

Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing).
Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
Valid state nursing license.
Minimum of 2 years of recent operating room experience.
Flexibility with schedule, excellent communication skills, ability to work in a union environment, proficiency with Cerner EMR, and scrub proficiency for OR cases.
