Licensed Vocational Nurse – HHP

Pay Range: $30.00 - $45.00 (Base pay only; additional compensation may be available through differentials, bonuses, etc.)
Role
Summary:
The LVN supports the physician and nursing staff in the delivery of healthcare by performing patient care assessments, and a variety of medically related tasks. The LVN is a licensed nurse who works in an ambulatory care setting to perform and provide nursing services within the scope of practice.
Education: High School Diploma or GED required. Diploma from accredited Vocational/Technical LVN program required.
Experience: 1 year LVN experience preferred.

Required:
Current unrestricted Licensed Vocational Nurse (LVN) license issued by State of California;
Current Basic Life Support Provider (BLS) issued by American Heart Association. Preferred:
Current Intravenous Therapy & Blood Withdrawal Certificate issued by California Board of Vocational Nursing and Psychiatric Technicians (BVNPT).

incorporates feedback, self-reflection, sound clinical reasoning and problem solving to continuously improve quality of care and operational processes. - Technical – Ability to use software applications and operate technological devices (e.g., computer, laptop, tablet, smartphone); strong proficiency using Microsoft Windows and other Microsoft Office software: MS Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Word; ability to operate mechanical/medical devices and/or equipment; knowledgeable and proficient in the use of health care technology within specialty area.
- Time Management – Ability to demonstrate time management and priority setting skills; demonstrated success working independently, forging relationships, and managing multiple tasks with minimal directions; ability to handle multiple demands and/or manage complex and competing priorities; ability to manage multiple priorities, think tactically as well as strategically; demonstrating objectivity, delivering results, and show initiative and creativity; must be able to manage competing priorities, while being extremely adaptable and flexible and maintaining a positive work environment.
