Job Overview
The LVN Supervisor is responsible for the day‑to‑day back office operations of the clinic by overseeing employees in providing nursing care to clinic patients, implementing and assuring quality medical management and cost containment health services, and ensuring quality medical management and cost containment health services to patients. The Supervisor oversees planning, development, implementation, and evaluation/improvement of clinical care services/programs, which include patient experience, patient safety, HEDIS, and value‑based care quality measures, financial goals, etc.
The supervisor implements, maintains, and evaluates clinical and patient care practice standards. The Supervisor works with the Site Medical Director, Clinic Director, RN Manager and/or Regional Nurse Director and the Administrative leadership team to achieve clinic quality, patient satisfaction and financial goals and ensure all staff are up to date on clinic objectives using quality boards, presenting progress on clinic objectives at staff meetings, etc.
Lastly, the Supervisor provides leadership to the nursing team and support as a mentor to staff.
- Graduation from an accredited LVN school, coupled with a current LVN license issued by the State of California.
- A minimum of 3 years’ experience providing patient care in an outpatient or inpatient setting.
- Current IV Certification preferred (will be required to complete within 6 months of employment).
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Prior experience with an Electronic Health/Medical (EHR/EMR) system is required.
- A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.
Pay for this job starts at $77,126.00 annually. Actual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations. The range is subject to change. This role may also qualify for discretionary bonuses or incentives.
