Covelo Group is hiring a Nurse Practitioner (NP) to support a school-based health and vaccine clinic serving K-12 students.
This role combines primary care, student physicals, immunizations, health screenings, and oversight of vaccine clinic operations. It’s a strong fit for an NP with experience in pediatrics, family medicine, school health, or public health who enjoys working with children and families in a structured weekday setting.

What You’ll DoOversee daily operations of the school-based vaccine clinic
Conduct student physicals, general health assessments, and athletic clearances
Administer immunizations and boosters and monitor vaccine compliance
Perform health screenings, including TB testing when required
Manage vaccine ordering, storage, inventory, and documentation
Maintain accurate medical records and required public health reporting
Ensure compliance with federal, state, district, and clinical safety standards
Collaborate with families, school personnel, and community health agencies
Provide appropriate student health support throughout the school day
What You’ll NeedCurrent and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
National NP certification, such as FNP or equivalent
Current BLS certification through the American Heart Association
Bachelor’s degree or higher
Experience in pediatrics, family medicine, school health, or public health preferred
Reliable transportation and ability to travel between assigned school sites when needed
Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, educators, and clinical partners
Ability to perform CPR and respond appropriately during medical emergencies
Ability to meet the physical requirements of a school-based healthcare environment, including standing, walking, kneeling, and occasionally lifting or assisting students up to 50 pounds
