LVN​/LPN – Ambulatory Care​/Clinic​/Outpatient

Job Summary:

Provides outpatient nursing care to patients in a clinic setting, assisting physicians and supporting patient treatment plans. Ensures efficient workflow and adheres to safety and compliance standards.

Responsibilities:

• Utilize clinical skills to perform blood draws, IV insertions, and other outpatient procedures.
• Document patient information accurately in Epic and in-basket systems.
• Assist in patient assessments and provide patient education as directed.
• Adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, including BLS and infection control procedures.
• Float between designated clinic locations as needed, maintaining flexibility.
• Maintain and verify active CA LVN license and certifications prior to assignment.

Qualifications:

• Minimum of 2 years outpatient clinic LVN experience.
• Valid California LVN license with active IV certification at submission.
• BLS certification (AHA or ARC).
• Blood withdrawal and blood draw experience required.
• Proficient in Epic and in-basket functions preferred.
• Ability to work day shifts from 7:30 AM to 5:30 PM and float as required.
