American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN Case Manager for an inpatient Care Coordinator role requiring active CA RN licensure and recent Epic experience.
Requirements- Active CA RN license with current Nursys verification required at time of consideration
- BSN preferred
- Minimum 1 year of travel nursing experience required
- Recent and demonstrable Epic EMR experience required
- Experienced in discharge planning assessments and utilization review
- Strong psychosocial assessment skills required
- Acute hospital case management experience required
- Proof of vaccinations required
- Valid driver's license showing current, permanent address required
- Two professional references required at supervisor level or above (Charge Nurse references not accepted)
- Inpatient Care Coordinator role within the Case Management department of an acute hospital setting
- Day shift schedule, 5x8 hours, Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 4:30pm
- 8-week assignment length
- Responsible for conducting Inter Qual reviews and screening transfers for clinical appropriateness
- Perform discharge planning assessments and utilization review functions
- Conduct psychosocial assessments to support care coordination
- Screen patient transfers for clinical appropriateness using Inter Qual criteria
- Local candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are accepted at the local rate
- Maximum RTO of 7 days must be submitted at time of consideration, with no additional RTO accepted afterward
