The selected candidate will conduct research to harmonize radiance measurements across multiple spaceborne imaging spectrometers, enabling improved observational coverage and scientific utility in advance of the Surface Biology and Geology (EAGLE-VSWIR) mission. The research will support the development of consistent, high-quality datasets that can be used across a range of Earth science applications, including ecosystem monitoring, terrestrial processes, and environmental change studies.

The appointee will contribute to the development and evaluation of retrieval algorithms, characterization of measurement uncertainties, and the integration of observations from multiple remote sensing platforms. The position also includes participation in airborne and satellite data analysis activities associated with multi-sensor campaigns supporting NASA Earth science missions.
