Executive Director - Head of Peptide Macrocycles Medicinal Chemistry, leading discovery, optimization, and development of oral macrocyclic drugs.
Responsibilities:- formulate and execute strategic direction for macrocycle programs;
- oversee medicinal chemistry efforts using peptide chemistry and library-based screening technologies;
- mentor junior scientists;
- collaborate cross-functionally with ADME, safety, and PK/PD teams;
- drive programs from hit identification to candidate nomination and clinic progression.
- PhD in chemistry, synthetic chemistry, or peptide chemistry;
- extensive experience in oral macrocycle drug discovery, with a proven track record of advancing molecules into clinical testing;
- deep expertise in macrocyclic peptides, library screening technologies (e.g., mRNA display, solution-phase, OBOC), and structure-guided optimization.
- familiarity with computational/AI/machine learning tools in drug development;
- experience in peptide or protein therapeutics clinical success.
