Position SummaryAs the Store Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of store operations, staff management, inventory control, and ensuring a positive experience for customers and donors while supporting the mission of The Salvation Army’s Adult Rehabilitation Program.

- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent (some college preferred).
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisor/management experience in a retail environment (thrift experience preferred).
- Basic understanding of office applications, including MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Valid driver’s license and proof of insurance; must successfully pass an MVR check.
- Must pass background check, which will include a criminal history and sex offender registry check.
- Ability to communicate effectively with management, store employees, customers, and donors.
- Ability to sit, walk, stand, bend, squat, climb, kneel, and twist on an intermittent or continuous basis.
- Ability to grasp, push, and pull objects such as files, file cabinet drawers, clothing carts, merchandise carts, rolling clothing racks, fixtures, furniture dollies, platform trucks and carts, hand trucks, and miscellaneous carts.
- Ability to move product up to 50 lbs.
- Ability to perform various repetitive motion tasks.
Store operations run 7 days per week. Work schedules are determined by management and require flexibility to ensure adequate coverage. Full‑time associates may be scheduled for any shift, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
