MajorDuties & Responsibilities
- Welcome all customers, set expectations with customers
- Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescription in lenses
- Acts as a leader in optical acumen
- Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs
- Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions
- Use technology accurately despite time pressure and customer volume; demonstrate exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools
- Proactively explore root causes of issues, forward‑think, and ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded with solutions
- Multitask, prioritize, and manage time amid competing priorities
- Strive to achieve exceptional results on brand KPIs and competencies
- Maintain store appearance, keeping it clean, attractive, and organized
- Inform management of safety opportunities and demonstrate safe work practices
- Resourceful, self‑motivated, with a desire for continual learning and improvement
- Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management
- High school graduate or equivalent
- State licensure
- Optical dispensing experience
- Strong customer service skills: communication, listening, and team building
- Knowledge of current store merchandise
- Strong basic math skills
- Awareness of current fashion trends
- Ability to sell: use and carry an iPad/tablet
- Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators
- Embrace new technology and change
- Previous customer service and retail experience
Pay Range: 25.02‑39.02
