The licensed optician delivers the brand value proposition and helps establish Lens Crafters as the premier destination for all vision needs within the community. This role creates exceptional value in the lives of customers by delivering legendary customer service and perfectly crafted, high‑quality eyewear that exceeds expectations.

• Welcome all customers and set expectations.
• Custom fit glasses and precisely place prescriptions in lenses.
• Act as a leader in optical acumen.
• Take and record measurements, accurately adjust/fit eyewear with attention to detail, ensuring finished eyewear meets standards and customer needs.
• Assist team with complex product needs and prescriptions.
• Accurately and thoroughly use technology despite time pressure and customer volume; maintain exceptional product knowledge and use appropriate tools.
• Proactively explore root causes of issues and forward‑think to ensure customers are satisfied and expectations are exceeded; solution‑driven.
• Multitask, prioritize, and manage time with competing priorities.
• Strive to achieve exceptional results on Brand KPIs & competencies.
• Take pride in store appearance, helping keep the store clean, attractive, and organized.
• Inform management of safety opportunities; demonstrate safe work practices.
• Be resourceful, self‑motivated with a desire for continual learning, improvement, and results.
• Adhere to company policies and procedures, including discounts, promotions, and inventory management.

• High school graduate or equivalent.
• State licensure.
• Optical dispensing experience.
• Strong customer service skills: communicator, listener, and team builder.
• Knowledge of current store merchandise.
• Strong basic math skills.
• Awareness of current fashion trends.
• Selling skills – ability to use and carry an iPad/tablet.
• Familiarity with POS, computers, and calculators.
• Embrace new technology and change.

• Previous customer service and retail experience.

Pay Range: 25.02 - 39.02
