As a Security Officer Patrol Response Guard in Pasadena, CA
, you will serve and safeguard clients across industries such as healthcare. In this unarmed patrol role you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to deter incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication.

- Sat: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Sun: 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
- Provide customer service by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities within the healthcare location.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations calmly and with problem‑solving skill, documenting observations and reporting concerns per site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, greet staff, patients, and visitors, and assist with visitor screening and direction while maintaining a professional presence.
- Support Allied Universal and site personnel by communicating clearly with supervisors, employees, and first responders during routine operations and unusual events.
- At least 1 year of security‑related experience is required.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Must be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories consistently with applicable laws.
- Applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license is required only for driving positions.
