As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, monitor alarm panels, and respond to security-related concerns. ** What You'll Do:*
* + Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.

+ Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.

+ Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials in accordance with site procedures, and help maintain orderly entry and exit operations.

+ Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; document observations and notify appropriate personnel according to established protocols.

+ Complete accurate activity reports, incident reports, and shift handoffs while communicating professionally with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.

* Minimum Requirements:

* + Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.

+ Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.

+ A guard card or license is preferred.

+ Customer service experience is preferred.

+ Alarm panel experience is preferred.

+ Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

+ Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

+ Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

+ As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

+ Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
