Field Maintenance Technician

Starting Pay Range $18.00 - $22.00 - Hourly Depending on experience

Job Description:

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Facilities Maintenance Technician to join our team. This role involves performing a wide variety of general maintenance, repair, and light construction tasks in both commercial and residential settings. The ideal candidate has strong customer service skills, enjoys problem-solving, and can work independently or as part of a small team.

Essential Functions include, but are not limited to the following:

Perform general repairs including carpentry, plumbing, painting, drywall, and basic electrical.

Troubleshoot and repair building systems as needed.

Assist with small remodeling and tenant improvement projects.

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Complete work orders and service requests in a timely, professional manner.

Transport, load, and unload materials as required.

Maintain a clean and safe work environment.

Interact with clients, tenants, and team members with excellent customer service.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

Strong knowledge of general building repairs and maintenance.

Ability to read and follow work orders, drawings, and simple blueprints.

Proficiency with hand and power tools.

Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.

Excellent communication and customer service skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Education and Experience:

High school diploma or equivalent required.
2+ years of handyman, facilities maintenance, or construction experience (commercial or residential).
