- Support site preparation for contractor installation of FENS racks, including wall mount and multiple racks per site.
- Provide critical power circuits and grounding for each contractor-furnished rack.
- Install power convenience outlet circuits for alternating FENS racks.
- Support the installation of new cable trays and conduits for FENS racks and cables.
- Install a separate fiber path at each site based on FAA POC requirements.
- Assist with site prep for LTE antenna installation on roofs, establishing paths for antenna cables.
- Serve as a CCSI reporting to the FAA Technical Officer Representative (TOR).
- Support general installation and construction efforts, including redlines and as-built documentation.
- Remove, repair, or replace components, wires, wire bundles, terminal blocks, and connectors.
- Solder, splice, and install/repair various wire types including coaxial, shielded, solid, and stranded wires.
- Test and troubleshoot electrical components, applying theories of operation for transistors, solid state components, integrated circuits, motors, and other electrical devices using schematics and technical data.
- Troubleshoot, repair, align, and calibrate audio equipment and voice communication systems to the component level.
- Install sensors, wires, cabling, computers, radios, and satellites in diverse environments and weather conditions.
- Perform additional responsibilities as assigned.
- High school diploma required.
- Ability to work in extreme weather conditions (heat, cold, etc.).
- Lift at least 50 pounds.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Internet, and Email.
- Ability to meet customer security requirements (moderate to high risk).
- Willing and able to travel up to 100% within the Central Service Area.
