What You’ll Do:
- Assess the needs of pupils with speech or language disorders and matches their needs with programs available through the educational system.
- Meet with students regularly according to the treatment program schedule, evaluate, and maintain records of students' progress.
- Report progress to faculty members and meet with them on a regular basis to discuss their evaluations of students' skills as demonstrated in class performance and social interaction with other students.
- Develop individual speech and language programs based upon assessment results.
- Participate in the eligibility and planning required for development of the IEP when a communication disorder is present.
- Report progress to parents and meet with them regularly.
- Suggest activities parents can do with their child to assist and supplement the student's speech therapy program.
- Repeat evaluations on a regular basis to measure progress according to professional guidelines.
- Travel to school site within assigned region.
- Maintain student progress records as required.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate.
- Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
Knowledge, Skill & Other Requirements:
- Valid California SLP License / CTC Credential or eligibility for a state waiver
- A valid license/RPE issued from Speech‑Language Pathology and Audiology Board, California.
- Must be legally eligible to work in United States.
- Maintain a valid driver’s license or the ability to obtain transportation between job sites, is required.
