We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Java Developer with a strong focus on backend development.
The ideal candidate will have expertise in Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and event-driven systems.
Familiarity with AWS cloud technologies and build tools is essential.
This role requires strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a collaborative Agile environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using Java and Spring Boot.
- Build robust, high-performance RESTful APIs and event-driven solutions.
- Collaborate with front-end developers to integrate APIs with interactive UIs.
- Deploy and manage scalable applications using AWS cloud services.
- Utilize build tools and CI/CD pipelines for efficient development and deployment.
- Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning, reviews, and retrospectives.
- Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to best practices in architecture and design.
- Troubleshoot and resolve application issues to ensure high performance and reliability.
- Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- 5–10+ years of relevant experience in Java development, with at least 2 years of on-site experience in a similar domain.
- Strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, and microservices architecture.
- Proven experience with RESTful API development and event-driven systems.
- Hands-on experience with AWS cloud technologies.
- Familiarity with SQL and No
SQL databases. - Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Dev Ops practices, and containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Strong understanding of Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Experience integrating with front-end frameworks.
- Exposure to monitoring and logging tools for cloud-native applications.
- Knowledge of testing frameworks for backend services.
