Senior Applied Scientist, Safe Locomotion

Amazon is seeking a Senior Applied Scientist to advance safe locomotion for robots in our global retail operations. You will design, train, and evaluate ML and control algorithms that enable reliable, safe movement in complex warehouse environments. Partnering with robotics, software, and operations teams, you'll build simulation frameworks, run experiments at scale, and take models from research to production. You'll define safety metrics, analyze large datasets, and continuously improve performance while mentoring peers.
