Chapman Freeborn OBC is looking for an OBC Broker to join the team in Pasadena, California. The successful candidate will be passionate about the logistics industry, target and goal driven and have experience in On Board Courier Brokerage.

• To maximize business opportunities by offering tailor‑made solutions to meet clients’ requests within budgetary and operational restrictions, whilst making suitable profit for the Company
• To build strong productive relationships with clients to ensure that the needs of the client and business are achieved

• To handle customers’ requests via telephone calls or emails for OBC services, follow‑up and work towards job confirmation
• To monitor/track on‑going shipments and keep in constant communication with the responsible courier and/or customers
• Liaise and give clear detailed instructions and information to Couriers on their assignments
• Supply Couriers with all mandatory official documentation for local Customs and Immigration Office and arrange their travel itineraries
• Prepare and compile files for all job and ensure all relevant documents are in place for future reference and invoice purpose
• Be willing to make business/duty trips abroad at short notice and if necessary perform courier duties including pickup and delivery
• Be willing and able to work in shifts which may include irregular hours
• Be aware of and comply with Company’s policies

• Experience as an OBC Broker
• Experience with in Airfreight or Logistic Companies, Airlines or the Travel Industry
