Temporary Community Organizer at PPPSGV

Elevate community advocacy with Planned Parenthood Pasadena & San Gabriel Valley as a Temporary Community Organizer. Drive grassroots initiatives and mobilize constituencies around reproductive rights in diverse communities.

This temporary position supports the Public Affairs department from September 2026 to June 2027. You will implement political efforts, develop outreach programs, and engage communities to bolster advocacy efforts. Ideal candidates will have a strong commitment to reproductive rights and building progressive activist bases among diverse constituent groups.

Key Responsibilities:

• Bridge relationships with diverse communities and PPPSGV

• Manage grassroots tactics for advocacy and electoral campaigns

• Develop multilingual, culturally responsive political campaigns

• Build coalitions with community leaders and stakeholders

• Oversee volunteer recruitment and engagement

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience preferred

• 2-3 years in public affairs, organizing, or community outreach

• Experience with grassroots advocacy in diverse communities

• Multilingual capabilities in target languages preferred

• Knowledge of reproductive health and advocacy issues
