SchedulePart-time with Weekend Commitment – Day/Night rotation – Rotating 7am‑7:30pm / 7pm‑7:30am
Position SummaryThe Registered Nurse – Pediatrics / PICU delivers evidence-based, family-centered care to pediatric and adolescent patients requiring both medical and intensive care. This role is ideal for nurses who are passionate about pediatric and critical care, thrive in fast-paced settings, and want to make a meaningful difference in the lives of young patients.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality, compassionate nursing care to pediatric and critical-care patients.
- Collaborate with physicians, respiratory therapists, and other care team members to develop and implement individualized treatment plans.
- Educate and support patients’ families throughout hospitalization and discharge.
- Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Nursing Diploma required; BSN preferred.
- Minimum 1 year of Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) experience required.
- Current Maryland Registered Nurse License.
- BLS – American Heart Association required.
- PALS required within 6 months of hire.
- Oncology certification required within 1 year of hire.
