Accounts Payable Clerk

Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Payable Clerk to join our team in Pasadena, Texas. This position is a Contract to permanent opportunity, offering the chance to grow within the organization while contributing to essential financial operations. In this role, you will play a key part in ensuring accurate and efficient invoice processing while collaborating closely with the accounts payable team.

Responsibilities:

- Process invoices with precision, including 2-way and 3-way matching procedures.

- Perform vendor maintenance to ensure accurate and up-to-date records.

- Code invoices appropriately to reflect correct financial accounts.

- Execute timely check runs to meet payment deadlines.

- Monitor and resolve discrepancies in invoice processing and vendor accounts.

- Collaborate with team members to optimize accounts payable workflows.

- Maintain organized records for audits and compliance.

- Communicate effectively with vendors to address payment issues or inquiries.

- Ensure adherence to company policies and financial regulations. Requirements - Proven experience in accounts payable or a similar financial role.

- Strong skills in coding invoices and processing payments.

- Familiarity with 2-way and 3-way matching processes.

- Ability to perform vendor maintenance and resolve discrepancies.

- Proficiency in executing check runs and maintaining payment schedules.

- Excellent organizational and communication abilities.

- Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance standards.

- High attention to detail and accuracy in all tasks.
