Core Duties and Responsibilities
- Answer phones and greet visitors
- Compare purchase orders with invoices and packing lists
- Process returns for incorrect, damaged, or unsatisfactory material
- Communicate with vendors regarding delays or problems
- Maintain records of orders, delivery materials, returns, and other items
- Prepare communications such as memos, emails, invoices, reports, and other correspondence
- Manage accounts and perform bookkeeping
- Minimum education:
high school diploma or GED - Decision-making: make independent decisions on a daily basis
- Communications and collaboration: collaborate with other administrators, support personnel, management and clients regularly
- Organizational skills: keep yourself and others organized and prioritize tasks
- Writing: proficient spelling, punctuation, sentence structure, and writing in various styles
- Ability to sit for prolonged periods
- Ability to use a computer keyboard, computer monitor, adding machine, and telephone for prolonged periods
- Ability to lift, carry, and transport work-related materials that frequently weigh up to 25 lbs. and that may occasionally weigh in excess of 25 lbs.
