Director of Sales (Full-Time or Fractional)

What You'll DoThis is a hands-on leadership role. You'll be doing the work and building the system behind it.
Lead & Elevate the Sales Team
- Coach and hold sales reps accountable to real performance metrics
- Run pipeline reviews, forecasting, and performance check-ins
- Create a culture of ownership, urgency, and results
Drive New Business
- Generate new opportunities through networking, outreach, and client meetings
- Get in front of customers – this is not a desk-only role
- Help close key and strategic deals
Build the Sales Machine
- Create a structured, repeatable sales process
- Improve pipeline visibility, forecasting, and conversion rates
- Define roles and eliminate inefficiencies across the team
Shape Strategy & Growth
- Help refine pricing, margins, and bundled offerings (equipment + monitoring + service)
- Identify new markets (maritime, industrial, multi-site clients)
- Strengthen positioning and value proposition
Own Client Relationships
- Build strong, lasting relationships with key customers
- Support retention and expansion of existing accounts
You're not measured on activity but on results:
- Revenue growth (new + recurring)
- Strong, healthy pipeline (3–4x coverage)
- Improved win rates and shorter sales cycles
- Accurate forecasting
- A sales team that performs well

Required:
- 5–10+ years in sales leadership or business development
- Proven ability to generate new business and close deals
- Experience leading or mentoring salespeople
- Strong communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, growth‑focused environment
- Ability to think strategically but execute tactically
Bonus Points:
- Experience in security, surveillance, or video systems
- Familiarity with CRM systems (Hub Spot, Go High Level, etc.)
- Experience with recurring revenue models (monitoring/service)
- Background in maritime, industrial, or B2B services
- You're not inheriting a perfect system – you're building one
