Summary
We are seeking an experienced Manager of Field Services with 4+ years of experience in MEP construction or consulting environments. This role will oversee the construction administration process for multiple projects, ensuring compliance with design plans, specifications, and safety standards. The position requires leadership, technical knowledge, and strong communication skills to serve as the primary liaison between clients, contractors, and internal teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesManage the full construction administration process for assigned projects
Develop and maintain inspection processes throughout project life cycles
Assign and oversee field associates to meet master schedule requirements
Conduct site inspections and review field reports to ensure compliance
Answer RFIs and Change Proposal Requests during construction
Review specifications, shop drawings, addendums, and other construction documents
Make construction‑related decisions in collaboration with Field Services leadership
Develop and implement training and mentoring programs for field associates
Ensure compliance with safety and quality standards across all job sites
Maintain communication with architects, contractors, and clients
4+ years of experience in MEP construction or consulting
4+ years of field project management in an MEP consulting environment
1–2 years of supervisory experience
Strong knowledge of building codes and construction documents (MEP drawings/specifications)
Technical knowledge of electrical, mechanical, and plumbing systems, including HVAC, power distribution, lighting, data, fire alarm, security, domestic water, sanitary systems, fire sprinkler, compressed air, and fuel gas systems
Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Office Suite
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Science, or related field preferred
Prior experience in construction administration for schools is highly desirable
