Patient Care Coordinator

Overview

Our office, Gulf Coast Endodontics in Pasadena, TX is seeking a motivated, organized, and team-oriented Dental Insurance Coordinator / Front Desk team member to join our growing practice. We are looking for someone with strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced endodontic office environment.

• Welcoming patients to the dental office
• Maintaining accurate patient records
• Answering all incoming calls and redirecting them or keeping messages
• Verifying dental insurance benefits and eligibility
• Sending and following up on insurance claims
• Working and managing A/R reports
• Assisting with treatment planning and financial discussions
• Cross‑training with front desk duties
• Providing excellent customer service to patients and referring offices
• Posting insurance payments accurately
• Checking, sorting, and forwarding emails
• Keeping updates, records, and files
• Keeping the front desk tidy and presentable with all necessary material (pens, forms, paper, etc.)
• Facilitating and coordinating other office responsibilities as needed

• Endodontic experience is a plus but not required
• Dental office experience preferred
• Knowledge of dental insurance and billing processes
• Experience with dental software is a plus
• Familiarity with office machines (fax, printer, etc.)
• Strong communication and people skills
• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Problem‑solving skills
• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Desire to help patients

Position Base Pay Range: $16 - $24 USD
