IES has an opportunity for an Emergency Department Medical Director at CHI St. Luke's Patients Medical Center:
Responsibilities- Provide on‑site management of the clinical and administrative aspects of the emergency department.
- Manage the quality improvement plan, including attending regular meetings and reviewing medical records.
- Supervise staff, provide feedback, and assure provision of high‑quality care.
- Review the provider schedule and ensure adequate staffing.
- Actively participate in the recruitment and retention of qualified physicians and advanced practice providers.
- Serve as liaison between hospital administration and clinical staff and provide regular feedback to IES leadership.
- BC/BE Emergency Medicine or BC Family Medicine with ED experience.
- Texas medical license (or ability to obtain).
- Prior experience as a Medical Director or Assistant Medical Director.
- DEAACLS, PALS, ATLS.
