Openwork is currently engaged in a search to find a reliable Bilingual eLearning Lab Proctor in Pasadena, TX. In this focused and fast‑paced role, you will be responsible for proctoring eLearning labs and assisting Safety Instructors in on‑site or off‑site training.

Responsibilities
  • Perform daily eLearning lab site opening and closing procedures
  • Check in trainees and verify identification where necessary
  • Escort trainee to assigned computer, explain the course and/or exam processes, provide necessary training material to trainees, launch course(s) for trainees, proctor trainees and provide technical assistance
  • Understand testing procedures for each exam and adhere to company quality and security measures
  • Communicate and proctor trainees to ensure adherence to company policies regarding sleeping, talking, note taking, cheating, cell phone usage, and others as determined
  • Verify trainee scores and post results when required
  • Report unethical trainee behavior to management
  • Maintain professional and clean eLearning labs
  • Ensure an adequate inventory of handouts, cleaning supplies and headsets are available
  • Report all course problems or discrepancies in a timely and efficient manner to the Supervisor of eLearning Lab
  • Assist with the logistics of classroom preparation, training material inventory and supplies, as directed by the Safety Instructor
  • Assist in classroom training activities, including testing procedures
Qualifications & Requirements
  • Customer service skills are a must. Strong communication skills - written and oral
  • Must enjoy working with the public and have a strong initiative to work independently
  • Must be able to work in a quiet environment and learn detailed procedures
  • Proven ability to work under pressure and make effective decisions
  • Cross‑train and assist other departments as necessary
Physical Requirements
  • Thorough understanding of and ability to use Windows Microsoft Office programs, Internet and Windows Explorer
  • Basic knowledge of computer hardware
  • Proven organizational skills
  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • Willingness to work at different locations if the company needs arise
Additional Information

Schedule:

7:45 am-4:30 pm M‑F
Hourly Rate: $14
