Electrical and Instrumentation Engineer

Our client, a leader in specialty chemical manufacturing located in South East Houston is looking to hire an experienced Electrical, Controls & Instrumentation Engineer for a Direct Hire opportunity.

The ideal candidate will have min. 5 years experience within a Chemical Process Plant environment.

You will provide electrical design, procurement, planning, and supervision of MV capital projects.

Plan and perform engineering studies, evaluations, and design of plant projects and modifications to improve and enhance plant efficiency and improve equipment reliability.

Enhance plant safety, environmental compliance and reliability.

Provide Project management for capital projects including budgeting, scheduling, hiring, and directing subcontractors, developing work scope, supervising all activities associated with project.

The ideal candidate will be Degree Qualified and have extensive experience in inspecting, maintaining, and specifying electrical systems is desired.

Experience in PLC, DCS (Delta V), and tuning instruments is strongly preferred.
