Lab Technician

Description

This person will support the crude oil department by doing:

- running routine tests on crude oil, base oils, lube oils, and petrochemical - input data in to the lab LIMS system accurately - follow safety protocols for proper lab SOPs - maintain the inventory of the lab

Skills & Qualifications

A.S. or B.S. in Chemistry, Biology, or related field Must have taken an in person lab course throughout their program (ideally chemistry) Disqualifiers:

- Cannot/do not want to be on their feet for 12 hours a day - Not able to commit to shift work - Needs to be okay with working in an oil and gas lab

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pasadena, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
