Job PurposeProvide hands‑on mechanical and electrical maintenance support to ensure safe, reliable, and efficient operation of plant equipment. Responsible for troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and supporting capital and reliability improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities Maintenance Execution- Perform mechanical and electrical troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on plant equipment
- Complete assigned work orders safely and efficiently
- Execute preventive maintenance (PM) tasks to improve reliability and uptime
- Maintain and repair electrical systems, motors, control panels, and instrumentation
- Support installation and commissioning of new electrical systems and equipment
- Diagnose electrical faults and implement corrective actions
- Maintain pumps, valves, conveyors, rotating equipment, and mechanical systems
- Perform alignment, lubrication, and mechanical repairs
- Support equipment rebuilds and installations
- Support compliance with Process Safety Management (PSM) requirements
- Participate in PHAs, HAZOPs, SOP development, and safety reviews
- Follow OSHA and site safety procedures at all times
- Identify and implement improvements to reduce downtime and improve performance
- Support capital projects, equipment upgrades, and process optimization
- Assist in developing maintenance procedures and training documentation
- Work closely with Operations, Engineering, and Contractors
- Support training and skill development across the maintenance team
- Foster teamwork and knowledge sharing across disciplines
- Associate’s degree, technical certification (Electrical, Instrumentation, or Mechanical), or equivalent experience
- 2–5 years of maintenance experience (mechanical, electrical, or both) required
- 5–10 years of industrial/plant experience preferred
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills (rotating equipment, piping, valves)
- Working knowledge of electrical systems, controls, and instrumentation
- Experience with preventive maintenance systems and work order management
- Familiarity with SAP or similar systems preferred
