Engineering Project Manager (API & ASME Standards)

Salary: $ - $160,000 + 15% Bonus and Strong Benefits Package

We are looking for an Engineering Project Manager with capital projects experience to join a chemical site in Houston. The role involves project management around piping, tanks, steam systems, and ensuring safeguarding and security of volatile chemicals.

• Lead planning and design for facility, equipment, and system upgrades including scope development, risk evaluation, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
• Oversee detailed engineering development across disciplines and support for infrastructure, equipment, outfitting and automation projects.
• Ensure quality control by establishing inspection/testing procedures, guiding contractors, and verifying adherence to plans, specifications, and performance standards.

• Experienced project or facilities engineer with strong background in chemical or hazardous material environments.
• Skilled in engineering design review, construction oversight, contractor management, procurement, and safety standards (ideally OSHA, PHA, etc.).
• Excellent communicator and collaborator with strong planning, documentation, and reporting abilities across stakeholders.
