Engineering Project Manager with capital projects experience sought to safeguard chemical midstream operations at a leading chemical site. The role offers ownership over projects and collaboration with a dedicated, small onsite team.
Key responsibilities include leading requests for technical and project management around piping, tanks, steam systems, and other critical infrastructure. The position requires ownership of controls, process documentation, and guidance to multiple departments, and involves dynamic engagement with management and cross‑functional teams.
Responsibilities- Lead planning and design for facility, equipment, and system upgrades including scope development, risk evaluation, cost estimates, and technical specifications.
- Oversee detailed engineering development across disciplines and support for infrastructure, equipment, outfitting and automation projects.
- Ensure quality control by establishing inspection/testing procedures, guiding contractors, and verifying adherence to plans, specifications, and performance standards.
- Experienced project or facilities engineer with a strong background in chemical or hazardous material environments.
- Skilled in engineering design review, construction oversight, contractor management, procurement, and safety standards (ideally OSHA, PHA, etc.).
- Excellent communicator and collaborator with strong planning, documentation, and reporting abilities across stakeholders.
