DescriptionKey Responsibilities
- Monitor plant process conditions and help identify opportunities to improve safety, quality, and efficiency
- Conduct field walkdowns to verify process conditions, equipment status, and operating practices, and the accuracy of plant P&IDs; support revisions to ensure engineering documentation remains accurate and current
- Engage with operators and supervisors to understand process challenges, standard work, and deviations
- Assist in troubleshooting process and equipment issues using data analysis and field observations
- Support execution of small projects, plant trials, and process improvements
- Participate in problem-solving teams and continuous improvement activities
- Assist in updating operating procedures and process documentation
- Observe and support Process Safety Management (PSM) and Management of Change (MOC) activities as applicable
- Present findings and recommendations at the end of the internship
